Rings Trends in 2020

Curious to hear about the latest trends in engagement rings? Look no further than your local friends at David Craig Jewelers. Our Summit Square, Langhorne/Newtown store is one of 16 U.S. shops recently featured in an article titled “2020 Engagement Ring Trends” .

Ringspo.com only reached out to jewelry experts like us who sold GIA-graded diamonds. They wanted to “ensure that we were obtaining opinions from those who demonstrated that they cared about the quality of the merchandise they were selling and the products that they were providing their customers.”

The website notes three big overall trends:

  • A resurgence of yellow-gold ring settings
  • Oval diamond center stones
  • A desire for individuality and custom rings

Here’s what David Craig Rotenberg had to say:

“The brilliant cut(round) shape in around one carat is still our most popular engagement ring. It’s always been the benchmark of our business. While heirloom designs were especially popular a few years ago, we see more modern, contemporary designs today with a bit of heirloom influence. The Forevermark halo “center of my universe” introduced about five years ago continues to be very popular today. We’ve created gorgeous variations of this concept with center diamonds surrounded by a halo of diamonds or gemstones like sapphires, rubies and alexandrites.

“Times change but, like the saying goes, a diamond is forever. We help our customers pick the one that speaks to their hearts.”
